Dear visitors, Andrea and Lucio friendly invite you to Palazzo Guardi, grand Venetian castle that dates back to the fifteenth century. It features been totally renewed and turned into 16 very cosy, light and fresh suites of exceptional standard, all equipped in distinctive Venetian fashion. This castle takes its name form the known artist Francesco Guardi, known above all for his scenery paintings which are considered on a par with those of other illustrious Venetian artists such as Canaletto and Tiepolo. His roomy paintings were inspired by the scenes of the old Venetian Republic and in antique Venetian tales told the structure is often mentioned. The artist was inspired for his works by the striking scenes that could be admired directly from this and historic residence. Palazzo Guardi is divided into two structures which procide our Guests maximum convenience. One building features a prime original central lounge, with a thrilling panorama over the canal and the surrounding *Squero-shipyard-di San Trovaso*. Here dating back to the ancient Venetian republic and up till present days, the original Venetian gondolas are constructed; those boats which have made Venice widely-known throughout the world. The other building features been turned into the breakfast lounge which is enhanced with the real 15th century wooden beams and decorations. This district able to also be used for conference meetings and in summer months the pretty privately-owned patio provides a ideal setting for lunch *al fresco*. The smorgasbord able to therefore be taken in the refined breakfast district, or, whether Guest prefers, it able to be delivered to the apartment where one able to enjoy, in the convenience of one s suite, the magical ambiance of Venice. We also provide, in the central lounge, a personal corner where our customers can to us a little p. c. for personal correspondence and i-net.
