Il Colto is a newly refurbished farmhouse with privately-owned PARKING. Its estate covers a hectare of land beneath the town walls of San Gimignano. The farmhouse is situated just one hundred and fifty m from Porta san Giovanni, below Piazza Martiri di Montemaggio. It provides its visitors an amazing and lovely panorama of try lively mediaeval city and the Tuscan contryside, dominated by scenic olive trees and plantations of grapevines. In this place you able to appreciate the ancient town without the inconvenience of needing a auto to receive around, except when wishing to stay the surrounding towns. Outside the farmhouse there is a park and loggia. This is where we cater breakfast in summer time, and where you can have a rest, adore the sun and admire San Gimignano, with its elegant towers, whilst savouring fine Colli Senesi Chianti wine, additional virgin olive oil and our raisin wine " Vin Santo del Nonno", all produced by us in keeping with convention and with the utmost respect for nature.
