In the National Geographic Traveler magazine, Apr. 2003 issue, on page 59, you are able to read: The owner of Lilium, Annibale Batosi, is an abstract painter with exuberant and safe eye for inside decoration. Opened in Sep. 2002 the guesthouse occupied one floor of a 1924 building on a busy boulevard. Australian songbirds invite you to the entrance hall, and clear blue hallways lead to high ceiling suites with painted armoires and color-coordinated with the sheets. Everything in the sunny spot is beautifully modern firm mattresses, air conditioning in each suite, well-conceived bathrooms. Check in and you'll be amongst the 1st to visit at a hotel that's earning a serious following. Finest suites: six suites have little plant-filled gardens. Bathrooms: half with tubs, half with showers, all have bidet. Breakfast: comfortable and soothing atmosphere. All suites are offered with: bathroom with hairdryer (7 with shower, seven with bathtub and shower inside), satellite television, phone, air conditioning with personal remote control, ceiling fan, privately-owned secure, refrigerator and a 24-hour DSL Internet access by laptop provided by the Hotel. The Liliumhotel is located only several steps from the historic Michelangelo's Porta Pia, 10 min stroll from the refined by means of Veneto, from the Central Station, from Roman National Museum, from Borghese's park and Borghese Gallery, from Sallustio's Garden. We are just a fifteen mins strolling from Spanish Steps and Trevi's Fountain. We're also near Opera Theatre.
