B Ragusa

General Information

The structure dates from the start of the 20 century and features been totally re-equipped respecting the original fashion. It's a characteristic masseria in the Ragusan district, it shows the distinctive wooden tiled roof and the Sicilian thick walls and an ample patio, called baglio. The BandB is dipped in the Sicilian mountains and is both, ten minutes from the baroque middle of Ragusa, Ibla ( Unesco cultural patrimony ) and from the palace of Donnafugata. It's also 20 mins from the sandy beaches of Marina di Ragusa. The structure proposes a tipical Sicilian fashion kitchen with a stone oven and another kitchen and breakfast room good for meetings. There are 4 double suites every with their one bathroom. The apartments are attractively furnished and have air-conditioning, tv and everything indispensable for a relaxed visit. What we intend to propose is not the usual established itinerary, but we would like to provide you with the possibility to join baroque art with the flavours and perfumes of the Ragusan village, to fully admire the different aspects of our district. We also provide you with the possibility to go riding with our own horses.

Transportation

From Catania: take the highway A18 CT-SR turn off at the Lentini Carlentini exit than continue on the SS194, SS514 e SS115 (toward Ragusa) than turn off at the Ragusa Ovest exit and at the firs round approximately in Ragusa follow the signe for the Luna nel Pozzo BB.
