General Information

The inn is situated three Km away from Pitigliano, a typical Etruscan and Medieval village
in southern Tuscany, also called "little Jerusalem" for its huge Jewish community that once
lived here, with its synagogue, the oven for the unleavened bread and the Jewish cemetery.
Full of heritage with evidence of the Etruscan presence such as quite a few necropolises and
excavated highways (by the Etruscans), in addition to evidence from the gothic and renaissance
periods (the Orsini fortress and the Medicean waterworks). The guesthouse, dipped in the green
homonymous dale where the matchless sound to be heard is that of the surrounding stream; it features a
tennis court and a roofed-over swimming pool fed by the surrounding spa baths where the water
springs at a 37° C temperature.
From the inn depart naturalistic and good paths that able to be covered by foot, on horseback
(manege close by) or on mountain bike. The inn is furnished with satellite television and mountain
bikes may be rented, practice archery and bird-watching, there is a bus amenities to and from the
hotel, car park, guarded garage. All main credit cards are accepted. The inn is located
in a locality where in a radius of 50 Km it is possible to get to the lake of Bolsena (15 minutes),
Orvieto, the seacoast (Costa d'Argento), Mount Amiata. Several mins away are Sorano with the
monumental complex of the Orsini fortress, the rupestrian settlement of Vitozza, Sovana with
its numerous Etruscan tombs, Saturnia and its sulphurous waters. Rome is at a distance of an
hour and a half.
