General Information

This property is situated five hundred meters from Pienza, the countryside of Pius the Second, along the highway that leads to the Val d'Orcia, and 400 meters from the church Pieve di Corsignano. (Both Pienza and the Val d'Orcia are inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List) The farm is totally located to propose its visitors a scenic vista of Pienza and the Val d'Orcia, against the backdrop of Monte Amiata, and the countrysides of Radicofani, Castiglione d'Orcia, San Quirico d'Orcia, Montalcino and Monticchiello. The farmhouse itself dates from the fifteenth century and has just been restructured, providing visitors with each comfort whilst they unravel in the splendor of nature. This is a family-run, working farm nestled in 30 hectares of land that is planted in olive trees, plantations of grapevines, grain, lawns and a vegetable park. The owner lives on the farm year round. Further to, the Agriturismo is situated in a natural reserve where you may encounter pheasants, hare, different kinds of birds and deer, in addition to the farm animals: hens, cockerels, plovers, turkeys, ducks, geese and the neighborly farm dogs. Enjoy a gradually stroll far away from the traffic or simply unwind extended out by the pond, encircled by lush, natural vegetation. Alternatively, borrow one of the independent mountain bikes and find the rural area that way. Vacationing at the Agriturismo is the best ways to fully experience the pleasure of this property.

Transportation

- The Valdichiana exit from the A1 motorway (for those coming from the north). Then follow then signs to Pienza.- For those coming from the south, exit the A1 motorway at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme and follow the signs 1st for Montepulciano and then for Pienza.- To Pienza, to turn on the left, follow the signs for Monte Amiata, go down towards the dale for approximately 1 Km, and we are on the right ( we are five hundred meters away from the end of the walls of the city).- From Siena direction Rome ( for S.S. CASSIA) for around 50,km., gone out S. Quirico D'ORICA and then direction PIENZA,- To Pienza, follow the signs for Monte Amiata, go down towards the dale for approximately 1 km., and we are on the right. (we are five hundred meters away from the end of the walls of the city).
