Encircled by a ten, 000 piazza - yard park filled with ancient trees, Villa Pambuffetti keeps its original intimacy and architecture unaltered, as well as all the amenities afforded by its newly restored structure. Stylish and solitary, the Villa is cautiously provided with antique family pieces of the most high quality. The Villa is family-managed by Mrs Pambuffetti Argantina and her daughter Alessandra with her husband Mauro. During summer months in the evenings, an exquisite open art gallery proposes the caller a change to undergo distinctive umbrian peculiarities, such as olive oil, truffles, legumes...., whilst sipping the renowed "Sagrantino" wine and listening to a local pianist. Cooking classes by Alessandra are held on demand for little groups, classes comprise the preparation of distinctive umbrian dishes. The twelve soundproof apartments and 3 apartments all have straight line telephones, line - radio, satellite TV, minibar, secure, hair - dryer and no doubt, en apartment bathrooms. Bungalow Pambuffetti proposes reading and living apartments, banquet-hall, conference rooms, bars. Riding school three miles away - Golf-course 20 miles away - S. Egidio Airport 13 miles away. Construction of the "Villa" began in the early 1800s, but the bungalow as seen today was completed a century later as final additions were made. The Villa is situated in Montefalco, small city, nicely positioned on upper of a 1,500- foot hill, revealing unexpected artistic treasures, such as fabulous renaissance paintings by Perugino, Melanzio, Gozzoli, Niccolo and Tiberio of Assisi. During the Easter period, the Winetasting Week takes spot, with stands and stalls featuring DOC and DOCG wines of Montefalco, Umbrian wines and other Italian wines. Each summer months there is the Montelfalco August celebration, with stalls, concerts, cinema and conventional costumes which concludes with the conventional "Fuga del Bove".
