Porta Vecchia B&B is an historical building from the 1700s, and was once used as offices for the clergy from the neighbouring San Leonardo church. Situated in the center of the ancient town, with its museums, old chapels and conventional restaurants, the B&B is only fifty meters away from the local sandy coastline, and it’s the best ground for exploration the cultural and simple splendours of the area. Mornings in Monopoli are serene and showy, and at this time of day in our B&B, we take unique pride in our local make. Depending on the season, our homemade bread, biscuits, cakes, yogurts and jam are catered either in our conventional galleried district built in local “tufo” stone or on our splendid terrace on the roof with inviting vistas of the Monopoli coastline. The easeful bedrooms with period furniture and accessories all have en room shower suites, central heating, air conditioning and television. Cots able to be provided on demand. Suites are cleaned and linen changed daily. A studio room with open plan kitchen locality is accessible for families (maximum three groun-ups plus cot). Content provided favour of the site.
