Encircled by 20 hectares of plantations of grapevines, olive trees and woodland, the estate is wealthy in ambience, heritage and current working life. The farmer's old building features been thoroughly renovated as a residence to propose 2 fine rooms. At La Fabbrica, you experience the elegant ambience of a Tuscan country and the caring and hospitality of its persons.
To the south, La Fabbrica enjoys a commodious vista of the Serchio river vale, the nearby hills, the "plain of Lucca" and, in its heart, the gothic city of Lucca within its well-known Renaissance walls.
The peaceful location is a ideal vacation destination for plenty of interests. The central aim of La Fabbrica di San Martino is to provide to the discriminating vacation guest the opportunity to live in one of a most beautiful places on earth. The 2 suites are Il Timo and Il Pesco. Both suites are entirely furnished with all you need to be homely, in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, including a barbecue for outside activities. The rooms have indipendent entrances for solitude.
In restoring La Fabbrica, we sought to retain the prior structure, its rural nature and simplicity. The floors, the beams, the woodwork are all original, and its materials and colors are renewed to reflect their everlasting beauty. Attention was taken to determine furniture from the original period and to restore it to its original quality whilst giving high levels of comfort.
