General Information

Chalet du Lys is the name we gave to this hotel, located in the nice vale of the Lys at the base of Monte Rosa in the region of Staffal. It sits 1850 mt above the sea level, and features just 23 inhabitants, 26 whether you comprise us. We are just over three kilometres from Gressoney La Trinite's city center. The inn is strategically located at the foot of the lively slope of St. Anna so you ski to the door of our Pub and with the cable-car only 150mts away. To produce it even faster and easier for you receive onto those slopes, we offer the Ski rental and ski deposit amenities in the guesthouse. You don't even have to queue for your ski pass, it will be handed out to you with your morning coffee. Ideal! Allow yourself to be mesmerised by the richness of Monte Rosa, and don't be surprised whether you fall in love. You may find yourself coming here year after year, for your summer months or winter weekends.

By carFrom Turin Caselle: Follow directions to Volpiano, take the high way A5 towards Aosta. Exit at Pont Saint Martin and continue on SR44 to Gressoney for 40kmFrom Milan Linate: Follow the directions to Turin. After Santhia, turn right to Aosta. Exit at Pont Saint Martin and continue on SR44 to Gressoney for 40km. From Milan MalpensaFollow the directions to Novara. Take the A4 motorway to Turin. After Santhia, turn right to Aosta. Exit at Pont Saint Martin and continue on SR44 direction Gressoney for 40km. By trainFrom Turin Caselle: Take the shuttle bus to Turin railways station, then by train toward Aosta, receive off at Pont Saint Martin. From the park opposite the station catch the bus to Gressoney all the way until the end. From Milan Linate: By bus get to P. zza S. Babila, take the metro, line 1, direction Molino Dorino. Receive off at the following stop (Duomo) and catch line three direction Sondrio. Receive off in Centrale FS (railways station). Take a regional train to Turin and receive off in Chivasso. Catch a train to Aosta till Pont Saint Martin. From the plaza opposite the station catch the bus to Gressoney all the way until the end.
