General Information

At the feet of Mont Etna in a generous scenery there is a captivating mausion (casale) of the 17th century; it's amongst citrus trees and fruit trees; it was restred without any innovation but manteining its original look by a young architect; it's appropriate either for a cute vacation or for a working visit. It's conducted by La Spina family; they love state life and they take a unique attention of their clients trying to produce their visit as confortable as posible. The panorama from the mausion from the Jonio sea to Naxos whirlpool and to Taormina and Calabria; on the other side threre is Month Etna or Mongibello, the highiest active vulcano in Europe. The nearest places are Taormina, the gorges of river Alcantara, Castiglione di Sicilia, where there is a hole golf club, Fiumefreddo natural reserve, Etna garden, Riposto turist port, the baroc city of Acireale, Acitrezza with its “faraglioni”, Acicastello with a borbon palace on the sea, the town of Catania with its churches and minuments and the hisghts of Mount Etna. The grange features five bedrooms with self-sufficient entry, every with its bathrooms, TV colour, air conditioning, table etc. There are also apartments with 4 beds and lofts for short and long stays. The clients can come over an old-time “palmento”, a vault which was used to produce wine until 1975; in it there is an old-time forest roman trees; the enviroment is rural and it's built in vulcano stone. There are also a kitchen and a spacious parking.
