The Residence Porta al Prato is one of the 1st Aparthotel built in Florence; it's a 5 floors up-to-date building, with 3 lifts, a large Hall for soothing and the Reception. It features 47 well equipped rooms in a post-modern fashion and design furniture. All suites have wide windows and the majority part of them have extensive balconies too. There are rooms for 1, two and three persons, every comprising a living room, one or 2 bedrooms, and fully furnished kitchen and bathroom. A lot of of the suites have been newly renewed, whilst maintaining their signature fashion and design.

Residence is embedded in the region of Porta al Prato, one of the antique gates of the historic town of Florence left intact after the antique walls were tore down. It's ten minutes on foot from the ancient town and its prominent Squares and bridges on the Arno’s river, and further from the main railway station and the Congress Centre and exhibition halls, It is also 10 min by auto from the Airport of Florence “Amerigo Vespucci” and the Motorway A1 Florence-Nord. The Residence doesn't have a bar/restaurant, but there are a few choices in the environment including bar/patisseries, international menu, pizzerias, quick food, bakeries and rotisseries,
