General Information

The Hotel Cardinal of Florence is located in a Renaissance castle where a good cardinal lived for plenty of years. After a meticulous restoration, the inn features re-opened in May 2004 providing the ideal pairing of heritage and technology. The guesthouse is situated on the st named Borgo Pinti, and is one of the oldest access highways to the town, famous for its a lot of widely-known convents. Situated un the centre just beyond the Duomo makes Hotel Cardinal of Florence the perfect place for those who want to conveniently wander to all the greatest point of interest in Florence whilst staying in lodgings with a Renaissance heritage. All suites are majesticly furnished with dark present-day furniture and luminous natural lighting. A lot of suites have a panorama of Brunelleschi's dome and each visitor able to enjoy a wonderful balcony with a thrilling 360-degree panorama of the town. Transportation

From the train station (Santa Maria Novella)Walking: wander to Duomo, then take Via dell'Oriuolo beyond the Dome, then turn left in Borgo Pinti when you come in Piazza Salvemini. Approximately 15 mins. Bus: take the minibus A till the stop Piazza Salvemini from there, go in Borgo Pinti crossing the marketplace. Cost: approximately 1 eur for a person. Cab: Costs approximately five euroFrom the AirportYou able to take the bus that brings you to the train station, then follow the prior indications. By cab: cost 10-15 eurosBy carFrom the motorway A1 take the exit Firenze sud drive following the directions for the downtown. At the end of Lungarno del Tempio turn right in Viale Amendola. Turn on the left at the 1st traffic light, then on the right and after the traffic light drive interior Via dell'Agnolo. Drive till the end of Via dell'Agnolo, and turn right after the traffic light of Piazza Salvemini turn left in Via di Sant'Egidio and leave the auto in the Garage Duomo. Cost: approximately 25 eur in a day, depends by the auto size.
