General Information

The Country House is perched on the slopes of the Apennines between Umbria and Marche, in a big district of rolling mountains, 360 metres above the sea level. It is situated three kilometers away from Fabriano, in a district of high historical interest and cultural in addition to natural wonders: woods, monasteries, early old-fashioned churches and abbeys, fortresses and palaces, museums of rustic custom. Only 6 kms away you will find the magnificent Frasassi caves, discovered in 1971 (the most significant European speleological site!), or just few kilometres away you are able to stay the Umbria district, with its infamous historical sites of Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, whilst whether you fancy a visit to the Adriatic beach you are able to stay the romantic beauties of Numana, Sirolo, Portonuovo, Conero. Lodging is organized amongst the major cottage and the antique barns, which have been restructured using local materials and strictly following the local classical style. Everything is purposed to empower you to live in contact with an uncontaminated nature, in a spot that is amongst the majority evocative of central Italy. We will be happy to suggest or arrange excursions, horseback riding and cycling, tourism or other breathtaking open-air activities such as paragliding, etc.. And then when evening comes it is pretty to sit around a desk tasting the distinctive products of the rural area: tasty cold cuts, salami, sausages, a wealthy range of cheeses, the stylish Verdicchio wine, honey, jams and preserves. The Country House is obtainable for privately-owned parties, weddings, buffets. The management will be happy to support you in the organization of your event.

Transportation

Agriturismo la casa di campagna is situated in Bassano (AN), three kilometers away from Fabriano. Directions: From Rome: take the A1 Motorway and exit at Orte. Enter the Freeway to Fano, once you pass Fossato di Vico take the diversion to Fabriano and exit at Fabriano Ovest. At the 2nd traffic light turn right into Via Serraloggia, after approximately three kilometers turn left towards Bassano and approximately 600 mt ahead on the left you will find the lobby of La Casa di Campagna. From Ancona: take the Freeway 76 to Rome and exit at Fabriano East. At the third traffic light turn left, at the following traffic light turn left again into Via Serraloggia. After approximately three kilometers turn left towards Bassano and approximately 600 mt ahead on the left you will find the entrance hall of La Casa di Campagna.
