Facing the splendid view of Lake Como, the four star hotel Villa Flori is in a pleasant privately-owned garden full of antique trees where Marquis Flori, the original owner, used to brag that he could grow citrus trees without any glasshouse.? Converted into a hotel in 1958 and absolutely refurbished in 1992, the 45 suites have the same fascination of the Villa with superb furniture and fabrics, Venetian stuccos and reconstructed frescoes, 35 of them have gardens facing the lake's still waters and, no doubt, all of them have contemporary comforts such as air conditioning, satellite television, secure, modem connection and hair dryer. On the 1st floor the Raimondi restaurant is offering clients the chance of spending an captivating evening in a dreamy 18th century atmosphere sampling Lombard menu and wines.
