Bungalow Roccabruna, built in the eighteenth century, shortly became the favourite destination of aristocrats searching for tranquillity and fairy-tale sceneries. Today it's the center and soul of the CastaDiva Resort. Heritage echoes throughout its terraces, whilst the astonishing bungalow, featuring an eclectic and Renaissance fashion, brings us back to the time when opera house singer Giuditta Pasta, who inspired Vincenzo Bellini, lived there. At the bungalow the composer, enchanted by the lake scenery between Moltrasio and Blevio, wrote his 2 greatest works, Norma and La Sonnambula, that were 1st played by Giuditta Pasta, the genuine Casta Diva of the hymn to the moon that Bellini wrote on the romantic shores of Lake Como.
