General Information

Palace of Selvole is in the center of Chianti, close to Vagliagli, and besides only 12 kilometers from Siena (20 mins by car), an amiable tranquil location for visiting the surrounding spots like Firenze, San Gimignano and Pienza. This was where one of the battlegrounds of he war between Siena and Florence in the middle ages. Its agritouristic complex situated only two hundreds meters from the winery, includes 3 groups of stone farmhouses that have been converted into 21 self-catering rooms (named Geranio, Margherita and Ginestra, all names of flowers). At the center is a large swimming pool facing the plantations of grapevines and olive groves where the customers able to swim whilst they appreciate the calmness and the idyllic chic of the Tuscan village. The suites come mainly in 2 sizes, an room with a double bedroom, bathroom, livingkitchen with double sofabed (for 2 to 4 persons), or a bigger one with 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, livingkitchen with double sofabed ( for 4 to six persons). Every one features his own privately-owned space with a parasol, desk and chairs. Clear linens are offered and changed for visitors staying more than a month. The customers able to also have access to the tennis court and ping pong desk, as well stay the cellars and feel the wines of the site.
