General Information

The initial block of Hotel Capo Sud was constructed in 1955 by the Di Puccio family which silent runs the guesthouse today. Since then the inn features been enlarged and regularly restructured, but its discreet and hospitable welcome features not changed. The inn features fourty suites in little cottages situated in the roomy (10000 sqm) park reaching our coast. These cottages are named Palm, Eucalyptus, Sun, Aleatico, Moon, Pinetree, Mimosa, Nightingale, Butterbush, Sea Urchin and Sage; their names were suggested to us by their unique situation within greenish mediterranean vegetation which surrounds the inn. In the hotel's central building is the major restaurant: our kitchen prepares wholesome menu and you may choose each day sea specialtiesOur customers specially enjoy the hotel's vicinity to the sea. The 3 paths leading to the coast beginning from the verandah where breakfast is catered, close to the waterlilys pond. Small cottages with most of our apartments, all with a little balcony, are situated in the vegetation close to the paths leading to the coast. Several steps and you'll get to one of the hotel's most appealing places, the scenographic swimming pool overlooking the sea. Close to the swimming pool are a brasserie and a little scenic outdoor restaurant which is active since mid June. Here, at snack, you may eat a-la-carte or have a the whole snack at an excellent price. This is our coast: one of the majority calm of Elba even in summer time months when the island is more crowded. The hotel's privy beach with the coast umbrellas, deckchairs and sun beds in the sand locality is reserved to our visitors and free. Groun-ups and kids can unwind and swim safely in the swimming pool and in the sea under the surveillance of the lifeguards.

Transportation

As you come in Portoferraio follow the sign All directions. Than turn left to Porto Azzurro. After approximately 800 mt. you will find a traffic lighters, turn right to Lacona Colle Reciso. (Colle = hill) As you come to the base of Colle Reciso (of the hill) you will find in facade of you a minimarket and a bank. There turn left untill a cross where you turn left again, direction Porto AzzurroCapoliveri.
