General Information

The Relais La Torre is situated in the antique complex of Longobard origin ( XII century ) along the roman 'Via Ariminensis', a highway of celebrated military importance which connected the city of Arezzo with Rimini, and it is only seven km from Arezzo, 14 kilometers form the A1 highway exit, roughly 70 kilometers from both Florence and Siena. Immersed in the vast estate among plantations of grapevines, olive-groves and forests, the relais is part of the fortified complex 'La Torre', with the diverse constructions composed around a fulcrum of a paved internal space, connecting the major residence with the farm annexes, hosting the rooms and the chapel which in the actual structure dates back to 1756. The building consists 5 apartments, a reception and a boutique selling home-farm make and hand crafted items. The suites, Greppia, Ziraia, Limonaia, La Torre e lAia, with free access, are of Spartan nature consisting of a bedroom with wrought iron bed, drawing room with sofa bed, and a bathroom with common shower. Comforts are completed by a 26 inch LCD monitor-TV with internet, and self-sufficient heating and air-conditioning. Dining: The visit consists of bed & breakfast, the latter rigorously on the basis of conserves made from the fruit of the farm, traditionally rural homemade pastries, fresh bread, supplementary virgin olive oil, daily fresh eggs and seasonal vegetables.
