General Information

Set at the end of a path leading to a 13th century hermitage and to the woodland of the Frati Bianchi (White Monks), this stone farmhouse, built at the start of the 1900s, features been thoroughly reconstructed by Valeria and Corrado and now houses 3 suites in the prior stables and a larger suite, Esinante, with hearth, named after the local area. In 2005 the plurality antique part of the farm was renovated to obtain one recent room: Il Poggio. The interiors are ornamented in delicate pastel colours and equipped in classical Marche state fashion. The farm is strategically placed (Ancona-Rome road 2kms and Adriatic motorway 25kms), and is a wonderful tranquil location from which to stay the areas abundant naturalistic and cultural sites: only a 30-60 minute drive to unbend on the beaches at Senigallia (40kms), stay art towns such as Urbino (80kms), Gubbio (70kms), Ancona (40kms), Macerate (40kms), the Frasassi Caves (18kms), the Monti Sibillini National Park (80kms) and quite a few fortresses and palaces (Jesi 15kms) etc.. On the farm customers able to, on demand, attend pottery and decoupage courses. Wine enthusiasts able to taste some of the superior wines produced on the 15 hectare farm (the verdicchio Terre Silvate and Gli Eremi and the scarlet SangioveseCabernet Nocenzio). How to arrive at the Farm cottage: From MilanBologna: take the motorway A14, exit at Ancona Nord. Take the SS Jesi-Roma (direction Jesi) till exit n 11 (Apiro-Mergo). Take the left and follow the direction Apiro. After two km turn on the left and follow the road-sign for Bosco dei Frati Bianchi ed Eremo, turning on the left uphill. From Rome: take the SS Jesi-Rome, direction Jesi, till the exit Apiro-Mergo. Take the left and follow the direction Apiro.
