Since 1828 a hotel features occupied the property now occupied by the Royal Marine Hotel. The ancient Hayes Royal Hotel was incorporated into the design, but later demolished in the 1960*s. The recent developed Royal Marine Hotel 1st opened its doors for work in 1865 and features been a Dublin institution ever since.
