Kilkenny is Ireland's most characterful medieval city with its Kilkenny Castle that used to be a meeting place of the Confederate Ireland government in the 1640s. Limerick is now also a place of interest in Ireland as it is a quickly improving modern city in the midwest. Besides there are lots of beautiful lakes in Ireland such as Lough Owel and Lough Ennell which are often visited by tourists and citizens of the country.
