Lamon Hotel is a family-managed hotel with amicable environment and a cozy, soothing atmosphere. It's located 35 kilometers south of Rethymnon. The name of this hotel features been taken from an antique countryside that was discovered at the foot of the hotel's serene location. Thanks its position, only several steps from the marvellous sandy coastline of Plakias, and a 5 minute stroll from the countryside which provides a romantic selection of boutiques, bars & tavernas. It's a lovely base for exploration the region's cultural and simple vicinage. All 27 suites are equiped with air-conditioning, security deposit box, cable TV, shower, WC, refrigerator and balconies with dramatic sea panorama over the Bay of Plakias, the hills, the guesthouse park or the swimming pool district.

Plakias is the ideal vacation destination, situated on the south beach of Crete. Retaining conventional Cretan friendliness, but big enough to have a peerless variety of tavernas, butiques and service etc. Plakias's lively, southern overlooking whirlpool is perfect for swimming and sunbathing. (nudists / naturalists are served for at the far end of the bay). The mountains beyond give pleasant strolls, on trails via the olive trees and behind. Plakias is situated 40 kilometers south of Rethymnon. It's also available along small waterside highway from Hora Sfakion. Bus services run from Rethymnon.
