Rastoni was constructed in 2004 on the ruins of a prehistoric town. Rastoni is overlooking the archeological spot and museum of Kolona. The site used to be a pistachio farm. The pistachios of Aegina island have the image to be one of the world's finest! When you enter the entrance of the inn you are able to tranquil see some protected ruins of an antique wall and some Mycenean chamber tombs that were found during the archeological excavation of the premises. The inn inside and exterior have been decorated with focus on comfort, fashion and detail. The colours used for decor are in the entire accord with the outskirts of the guesthouse.

Transportation

From the Airport in Athens to the port of Piraeus: By Shuttle busLeaving the arrivals lounge, you'll find bus X96, which takes you direct to the Port of Piraeus. Each 1520 mins a bus is leaving during the day and approximately each half hour at night. Ask the bus driver to stop at the basin for Aegina (in facade of Radio Korasidis) The price of the ticket is three. 20 (and is valid for day and night. The journey will take 60 mins up to 1 14 hour depending on the traffic! At the airport and in Piraeus you buy your ticket at small ticket office adjacent to the busstop. Entering the bus, do not neglect to stamp your ticket in the ticketmachine. Have pocket money prepared when you buy your ticket, they do not appreciate vast notes! From Piraeus to the spot of AeginaBy Conventional Ferry Boat: The journey to the Island lasts about 70 mins. Boats depart from port Gate E8. Ticket for a person costs about 9 euros. Auto fare costs about 20-25 Euros. By High Speed Boat Flying Dolphin: Trip to the Island lasts fourty minutes. Boats depart from port Gate E8. Ticket for a person costs around 15 Euros. From the haven of Aegina city to Hotel RastoniHotel Rastoni is situated only 400 metres away from the haven. It's a delicious stroll adjacent to the sea. In case you have heavy luggage or whether you want to avoid strolling, you are able to use a cab, situated next to the ticket offices at the haven, against a highly little fee.
