General Information

Our conventional hotel, which was lately rebuilt and catered to contemporary standards, features 56 cozy suites with 75 beds in entire. We also provide a meeting room with space for up to 80 delegates. The basement is the home of our rural brasserie, the Waldbahnschanke the whole with a bowling side street, large-screen TV, a swimming pool desk and dartboard. For more relaxing moments we also have a sauna and tanning studio obtainable to our dear guests. Our trendy restaurant underlines a wide-ranging and constantly-changing carte menu with champion food in an amiable ambience. The historic Thuringerwaldbahn transports you from our facade door right into the centre of the Thuringian Forest with its many sights and prime landscape. Gothas city center and Schloss Friedenstein are just several minutes stroll away, in addition to the local museums.

Transportation

Arriving by auto: It is easiest to drive along the A4 autobahn (between Frankfurt and Dresden). Leave this autobahn at the Gotha-Oberhof exit. Drive towards Gotha city center and then follow the Gotha-Hotelroute signs. Arriving by plane: For those who are flying to Erfurt, a cab ride from there to this hotel lasts about half-an-hour. We able to organize transfers on demand. Arriving by train: We are in a tranquil but highly main location right next to the Gothas train station.
