Gohren is the ideal departing point for excursions with small train of Rugen, with ships or with the bus to the palace of Granitz, the nature-stage of Ralswiek (Stortebeker-festival), the chalk-rocks, the Cape Arkona or the port of Sassnitz-Mukran. There are bizarre and steeply coasts, several miles of sandbeaches which welcomes you to a long stroll or even to unbend a small bit.
