Welcome to Kloster Graefenthal, formerly a 13th century Cistercian cloister but now offering suites with a uniquely rounded and historic character. Some of our rooms provide prime lakeside vistas. Let yourself be enchanted and bewitched by the centuries-old ambiance of a historic abbey. Our cafe also proposes suite amenities with a choice of little lunches, drinks and more... Enjoy a big variety of activities in the locality such as the GochNess water garden or take a long, relaxing stroll among the lakes beyond the cloister. Alternatively, take a journey over into Holland as the border is only several miles away. The Lower Rhine district indeed does have plenty to propose.

Transportation

Take the A57 heading towards Nijmegen in the Netherlands before leaving it at Kleve and taking the B9 towards Kleve. Follow the B9 for approximately 2 kilometres before turning right into the B504. Continue along this highway for around 3 kilometres before turning into Maasstrasse. You'll find the inn on the left after about 200 m. Whether arriving from Dusseldorf-Weeze Airport: Head west on Flughafen-Ring toward Limburger-Tor before taking the 1st left to remain on Flughafen-Ring. After three-quarters of a mile turn left again to remain on Flughafen-Ring. Turn left onto Wember Strasse (L361) and continue for a pair of miles before turning left onto the B9. Continue along the B9 for 3 miles and turn right to combine the A57 heading towards Nijmegen. After a further 3 miles take exit two at Kleve and go onto the B9 heading towards Goch-West. Turn right, following the signs for the B9, Kleve and Goch and continue as far as the B504 to Goch Kranenburg Kassel. Then turn right at Asperdener StrasseB504, following this highway for a mile and a half before turning right into Maasstrasse (K28). Carry on for half-a-mile before turning left at Grafenthal. The guesthouse is direct in facade of you after fifty m.
