Welcome to the centre of the “Ville Vieille” several steps away from the special historic sites of the “Palais Ducal” and the splendid “Place Stanislas”.
The guesthouse is an old-time eighteenth century residence. The “Marquis de Jouffroy” had it built for the “Comtesse de Bressey” in 1752. She became celebrated in the local heritage for being the “favourite” at King Stanislas’s court.
Originally, the inn was constructed on the remaining bottom of an old-time monastery dated from seventeenth centuty. In this apartment (breakfast room) we able to notice the characteristics of Louis XVIII period: Ceilings “ a la francaise” (French fashion ceilings) – beams and painted ‘Fleurs de lys” (lis flowers) – a vast hearth – paving stones.
The hotel features the shape of a U.
Its intoxicating blossom attracts a lot of clients every year, in spring.
