It's on the native soil of the Valois king François 1 and of what Victor Hugo described as the "nectar of the gods" that Dominique and Luc Marmain extend their cordiality to you for a weekend or longer in real Charentaise fashion at their wonderful hotel of character. This glorious 19th century château, built in the Louis Philippe fashion, was aboriginally home to one of Cognac’s most honored brandy-producing houses. At one time, illustrious figures and the gentry were frequent visitors.

Today, we carry on this same custom of gracious cordiality with our 22 visitor suites, eight of which are classed as "De Luxe". Facing the dale of the River Charente, Domaine du Breuil proposes marvelous views of the rural area around Cognac. The château is embedded in over 17 acres of woody park, thus guaranteeing your tranquillity and stillness.
