Chateau Valmy Argeles-sur-Mer

General Information

This monument was constructed at the end of the nineteenth century in the center of the Valmy wine-producing estate. It was planned by the Danish architect Viggo Dorp-Petersen whose business was very appreciated by the wealthy families in the Roussillon district. Under a red-tiled roof embellish with ceramics, the chateau, built for the minister Jules Pams, was visited by Marshall Joffre and a lot of other outstanding names at the start of the twentieth century. Valmy features now been fully restored and features large, well-appointed suites improved by the square, swimming pool and gulf bath ensuring a very soothing break for visitors.
