France, officially the French Republic, is a country whose territory is located in Western Europe and also includes different overseas islands and territories located in other continents. It borders on Switzerland, Italy, Monaco, Andorra, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, and Spain. By the Channel Tunnel this country is also linked to the United Kingdom. France is a highly-developed country with the 6-th largest economy in the world. It is known that France is the most visited country in the whole world and receives annually more than 79 million foreign tourists (and this figure excludes people staying less than 1 day in France). This country is one of the founding members of the EU, the United Nations, the G8, and the Latin Union. Today France is considered to be the first tourist destination in the world, even ahead of Spain and the USA with its best hotels and french flair you will never forget once you have been there. For that reason there are a lot of hotels for different welfare standards and different hotel prices, beaches, seaside resorts, ski resorts. Besides there are a lot of rural regions that many enjoy for their beauty and stillness (green tourism).
