General Information

Founded in 1827, Hotel Jagerhorn is the town's oldest standing hotel. Its nonpareil peaceful location, nestled between the town's major foot passenger boulevard and the ancient town, provides visitors with a halcyon and relaxed nearby at just a stone's throw from the major Ban Jelai piazza, the centre of the city. Our amicable personnel and warm home-away-from-home ambience produce us the plurality individual and friendly hotel in Zagreb. The heritage of Jaegerhorn dates back to the start of the nineteenth century, making us the oldest standing hotel in Zagreb. In 1827, the guesthouse was acquired by family Rumleitner from Vrbovac, who renamed the site from Austria's prince to Jaegerhorn. With time Jaegerhorn established itself as a cultural and political icon of Zagreb, noted by plenty of historical accounts linking our name to plenty of Croatian historical figures such as the central person of the Croatian national reformation Ljudevit Gaj, Ban Josip Jelai, and others. Zagreb's central street, Ilica, leads you to our hotel; a personal and amicable oasis right in the middle of city. With all of 13 suites, an ample hall and balcony, we goal to give clients with a quiet and true experience of Zagreb, in addition to guiding you through our illustrious past. Standing the test of time, for almost 2 hundred years we have guarded our custom and the ambience of the town.

Transportation

Coming from the direction of Slovenia, drive along Zagrebaka avenija, then turn to Savska boulevard. Keep driving along Savska st till you reach Marala Tita piazza (where the Croatian national cinema is placed). Then turn right just before traffic light and visit in the left traffic lane till the following traffic light. Continue along Masarykova avenue and on the 1st traffic light turn left into Gundulieva st. Keep driving till the intersection with Ilica st. Turn right into Ilica boulevard and after one hundred meters you will find us in the passage Lovaki rog to your left.
