Getting around. Much of Split's city center is pedestrianised and easily explored on foot. There is a capacious net of buses operating throughout the city and buses run from five a.m. to around midnight. Bus tickets able to be bought at kiosks (tisaks) or on the bus, and cost 8 KN for a single trip in the central zone and 18 KN for all 4 zones. Driving directions. From Split Kastela Airport Turn left at the airport's exit. Follow signs for Split for approximately 25 kilometres. When entering Split (after the crossroad in Solin), turn left at the 1st set of traffic lights. Go direct to the 2nd traffic lights and turn left. Go through next set of traffic lights and then take the 1st turn in front of the Super Konzum shopping area.
