Transportation

By auto from the west(A1) south (A2): head for the downtown (Zenrum) - Ringstrae - University - Votivkirche. Take a left turn in the Wahringerstrae.alternative: Follow the Gurtel till Wahringerstrae Volksoper. Turn right in the Wahringerstrae in the direction of the center of the city. We are on the right-hand side after the 2nd traffic light. From the airport: Take the bus Vienna Airport Lines to Schwedenplatz (Euro 6,-) OR the City Airport Train (CAT) to station Wien Mitte, from Schwedenplatz Wien Mitte U4 to Schottenring, U2 one stop to Schottentor (U = undergroundmetro line). Then one stop with any of the next trams: 37, 38, 40, 41 or 42 (Schwarzspanierstrasse). The guesthouse is within sight. By auto: A4 towards downtown (Zentrum) to the B227. Take a left over the Rossauerbruecke, up the Hoerlgasse and take a right turn into the Waehringerstrasse. By auto from the airport: A4 towards downtown (Zentrum) to the B227. Take a left over the Rossauerbrucke, up the Horlgasse and take a right turn into the Wahringerstrae. From the western train station (Westbahnhof): Take the U6 to Wahringerstr. Volksoper, change to tram 40 or 41. Receive off at three. stop (Schwarzspanierstrae). From the southern train station (Sudbahnhof): Tram D to Schottentor, then one stop with tram 37,38,40,41 or 42 (Schwarzspanierstrae)Parking: Garage in cottage vis-a-vis or city-tax for social car park.
