Since the opening of the Altstadt Vienna in 1991 the cottage features been enlarged with appartements and is today a meeting point for artists, musicians and person tourists searching for a distinctive hotel with first-rate facilities. Your check-in - a warm and hospitable welcome, your suite - a special fashion escape and the entrance - a homely scarlet salon with open hearth. Art surrounds you, from reception desk to apartments to exhibitions in the Red salon. Every of the 42 exquisitely ornamented rooms & suites features a touch of the past. All our apartments have been purposed to meet individual requirements, none of them is alike. Simple chairs, plump floral sofas, classic and design furniture, high ceilings, honey-coloured parquet floors, extraordinary light objects and present-day art transform every and each room to your personal livingroom. The English-style Red Salon accomodates the striking breakfast cafeteria in addition to a brasserie, where you can have a rest adjacent to the open hearth. In the afternoon we cater complimentary tea and cake for our dear guests. It is our delights to organize tickets for opera house, theater and concert.

Transportation

Arriving at the Airport Wien-SchwechatWe able to organize a pick-up facilities from the airport for you. The rate is EURO 36,-- per transfer. Please let us know your departure destination, your advent time and date in addition to your flight number. You could also use social transportation. Each 20 to thirty minutes there are buses, the train (S7) or the CAT (City Airport Train) leaving to the City Air Terminal Wien-Mitte. The rate is between EURO 6,-- and 10,-- for a person and the duration between 16 (CAT) and thirty minutes. From Wien-Mitte please take the metro number three (U3) till Volkstheater. Take the exit Burggasse and follow Burggasse for approximately five mins. At the 3rd traffic light turn right into the Kirchengasse. You are sure to find us - Kirchengasse 41 - easily because of our scarlet canopy above the entrance hall.
