General Information

The shop hotel at the cathedral was rebuilt in June 2009 for the 4 star designer hotel provides visitors one of the best facilities and pleasure for a heavenly visit in the heart (pedestrian zone) of the Culture of Salzburg. Outside the facade door you can get all the cultural and historical park amusements withing short distance and take the flair of the ancient town as long-lasting experience with you. Our garden amenities are just five minutes stroll away in the ancient town garage.

Transportation

Arrival by carTake the Exit Airport on the A1. At the 1st traffic light turn left into the Innsbrucker Bundesstrae. Drive direct ahead until the end of this st, and turn then right into the Maxglaner Hauptstrae. Follow this boulevard till the end and you'll get to the Neutorstrae. Follow direct ahead and drive via the tunnel (NeutorSiegmundstor). After the tunnel at the traffic light turn left and follow the highway till yousee the river Salzach and the wide car-bridge (Staatsbrucke) on your left hand side. Drive beside the river until you get to the following little bridge, Mozartsteg and the traffic light, where you have to turn right. After just several metres, turn right once more in the unmounted zone. On your right hand side you should see the Mozart statue. Drive direct ahead about fifty meters and on the right side is the lobby to the Goldgasse, where you are able to stop to unload and check in. You can get particular tickets and instructions where to garden your auto (Altstadtgarage B, 11,-- Euro per 24 hours). Whether you want to garden before, you are able to directly drive to the Altstadtgarage B. Therefore you have to follow the instruction from above, but instead of driving via the tunnel take the garage, which is just beside it. Use the exit Toscaninihof. Arrival by trainFrom Salzburg Main Station take the social bus (Nr. three, Nr. five, Nr. 6 or Nr. 25) to the bus stop Rathaus (first stop after crossing the river). Take the passage and go direct ahead. On the left side you'll see the Goldgasse. It's also possible to drive in by cab (app. 10 minute. to the guesthouse app. 7,-- Euro). Arrival by planeIf you stay Salzburg by plane you'll arrive at the international Airport Wolfgang-Amadeus-Mozart. Take a cab from the airport to the inn (app. 13,-- Euro), or take bus no. two till HauptbahnhofMain station. Change to bus no. three, five, 6 or 25, till Rathaus (first stop after crossing the river). Take the passage and go direct ahead. On the left side you'll see the Goldgasse.
