The Apartment-Hotel Almhof features one apartment and up to four-room suites accessible, provided with unique taste, elegance, peculiar care for each detail and disposes of each comfort. Encircled by picturesque hills, the inn is only several walking min from the very heart of Kirchberg and six kilometers from the noted Kitzbuhel. A scenic path through field and fields will lead, after a 10-15 mins stroll, to the lake Kirchberg. The Apartment-Hotel is a fine start point for trips to the surrounding hills. In summer time months you can have a rest in deck chairs outside, at the foot of the small heated open-air swimming pool or on the verandah, enjoying the panorama on the mountain Rettenstein. In the winter the small town will become a sports heaven: more than 200 kilometers of ski slopes, 45 kms cross skiing runs, 40 kilometers strolling trails, ice skating and trips with horse carriages. The slopes of the distinguished Kitzbuhel region with its famous ski runs like Hanenkamm and the ski safari from Kirchberg to the pass of Thurn, are a heaven for skiers. A night ski slope on the mountain Gaisberg, open from 6. 30 p.m. to 9. 30 p.m. and a toboggan run are approximately three hundred meters away. A self-sufficient ski bus to Kirch berg and Kitzbuhel, stops opposite the hotel. With a small additional charge you are able to go to a surrounding hotel enjoying the wide open-air pool, the diverse saunas, jacuzzi, the sport studio and tanning studio. Several courses in golf are also at the foot of the hotel.
