The Torquay Tropicana is a 5 minute wander to Beach and Surf City Plaza, treveller news center and the Surf World Museum. Surf City Plaza features the surf giants Rip Curl and Quicksilver plus a lot of smaller surf companies.

Torquay Tropicana Motel is set on 2 and a half acres of lawns and terraces and consists of 18 first floor units, four administrative honeymoon apartments with thermal, relaxation suite, meeting room, undercover BBQ, visitor washhouse, solar heated open-air pool and heated thermal.
