Alternatively, wander to Summer Hill Train Station which is exactly several blocks away. The Lodge is comfortably located at the Italian Quarter and Chinatown, ideal for dining. Approximately 15 minutes drive from the Lodge you will be can reach Flemington Market, Sydney's ultimate known market place. Transportation

By auto: Travel west on to Parramatta Road (Route 31)from the town or Airport. After passing Flood StWest St intersection, keep left then turn left into Old Canterbury Rd. Then Turn Right in Barker St drive all the way direct till you get to a T-Junction, turn left on Tebbutt St. Drive all the way direct and then Turn Left on Marion St and drive all the way till you get to another T-Junction, Turn Left into Ramsay St. Drive all the way and you'll get to Parramatta Rd again. Turn Left and you see Garden-Lodge Sydney on your Left right after Mobil Service Station. From the south-west, drive along the Hume Highway towards the City till it meets Parramatta Road, turn directly at the lights and we are 500m on your left. By train: From Central Station take the Inner-West line or South line and stop at Summer Hill station, stroll downhill three blocks to Parramatta Road (10 mins approx) and turn right. Buses: From the town take the 461, 480 and 483 bus. These buses will drop you off at the bus stop right across from us. Taxis: From the town fares are approx. $15-$20. Taxis from airport are approx.
