Travellers without autos able to be picked up from Glasshouse Mountains Railway station. We are situated approx 40 - 60 min drive from Brisbane international and domestic airports.

Transportation

The Glasshouse Mountains Ecolodge is situated in Barrs Road just off Steve Irwin Way at Glasshouse Mountains. Whether you're hiking north from Brisbane on the Bruce Highway, take the Steve Irwin Way exit on the left. Approximately 9 kilometers from the beginning of Steve Irwin Way turn left into Barrs Road. The sign also says Mt Tibrogargan. Barrs Road is easily identified in relation to the Matilda facilities station. Coming from the north turn right into Barrs Road just past Matilda facilities station. Whether hiking north turn left into Barrs Road just before Matilda. The good highway to the Glass House Mountains now called Steve Irwin Way is a well signposted Road commencing off the Bruce Highway at the Caloundra turn-off whether you're hiking south. Travel time from Brisbane by auto is approx. 70 mins. The nearest airport is the Sunshine Coast Airport at Maroochydore which is fourty minutes by auto or Brisbane Airport which is 75 mins.
