Leatherwood Lodge is luxury Brisbane lodging uniquely located on acreage just a 20 minute drive from the center of the city in the good rustic Brookfield dale. The prize winning, architect planned Lodge is sited on a high ridge with attractive town and vale vistas. The 4 dainty visitor apartments are named after Australian artists and are discretely furnished in the Biedermeier fashion with French and English fabrics. Original Australian artworks are a peculiar feature of the Lodge. Visitor comfort is optimised by fully integrated and privately managed air conditioning. The use of open-air terrace apartments is a feature of this present-day state Lodge giving an option of places for visitors to unbend and relax. A feature of the Lodge is its big native parks with abundant Parrots and the occasional Kangaroo. A landscaped resort fashion salt water pool and surrounding barbeque is another feature.

Transportation

Leatherwood Lodge is directly a 20 minute drive from Brisbane downtown. Head out along the river highway, Coronation Drive to Toowong. This highway becomes Moggill Road and you visit on it for approximately ten kilometres and visit on Moggill Road behind Kenmore. Approximately a kilometre behind Kenmore is a Rafting Ground Road sign on the right after a bridge crossing. Go left there and the 1st highway on the left is Melaleuca Place. Go left there- it winds up to Leatherwood Place- we are right up the upper and at the end of a long driveway.
