The Tara Firma Inn Volcano is situated in Volcano, Hawaii, in a tropical rainforest district once forbidden to anyone except royalty. Volcano Village is one and 1 half miles away, and serves as home to boutiques, restaurants, terraces and art galleries, including the Volcano Garden Arts Center. The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is 3 miles from the guesthouse, and retains both the earth's most massive and most active volcanoes, Mauna Loa and Kilauea.
Built in 1989, this inn is encircled by giant ferns, blooming orchids and other native Hawaiian flora. Complimentary mainland breakfasts are catered every morning in the breakfast room. Complimentary non alcoholic beverages are offered throughout the day. The hotel has forest paneling, hardwood floors and a superior apartment with sitting districts and a forest burning stove.
