Transportation

From the North - Leave the M6 at Junction 44 heading through Carlisle onto the A595 and continue for about 25 miles. Bypass Cockermouth and combine the A66 heading towards Workington. About five miles West of Cockermouth at the roundabout where the A66 meets the A595, turn right sign posted Great Clifton. The Old Ginn House is well signed and sits alongside the highway running via the countryside. From the South - From the M6 Motorway. Leave the M6 at Junction 40 (Penrith) and take the A66 West for Keswick, Cockermouth and Workington. Staying on the A66 by-pass Keswick, and Cockermouth. About five miles West of Cockermouth at the roundabout where the A66 meets the A595, turn right sign posted Great Clifton.
