General Information
The Bear Inn is one of the oldest and most well-known Inns and restaurants in Derbyshire. Prominent for serving fantastic home-cooked food, delightful wine and a variety of well maintained local true ales. We are proud of ourselves in sourcing fresh, local ingredients and everytime propose a variety of seasonal specials accessible all day, each day. The Bear Inn faces miles of village that spawned the Industrial revolution and the globalisation of textiles. The Derwent vale features played backdrop to a lot of a canvas and Hollywood movie, example it for yourself together with our delightful wine and prominent carte menu. The Bear inn appears in the Good Pub Guide, the Good Beer Guide and Alistair Sawdays 'Special Places'. It features ten suites including two self-contained cottages facing the Derwent Valley.
